    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintain all relevant purchasing data of goods in the ERP.
    • Support contract negotiations with suppliers and vendors.
    • Analyze price proposals and other financial data to determine reasonable prices for goods and services.
    • Balance cost and quality to procure the best quality of goods or services for the lowest price in adequate amounts.
    • Monitor and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and policies regarding the purchase of goods and services.
    • Coordinate with a worldwide network of suppliers and vendors to ensure that the materials and components meet quality specifications and standards.
    • Develop and implement quality management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Collaborate with product development teams to integrate quality control considerations into product design.
    • Design and execute testing procedures to identify potential defects or areas for improvement in products or processes.
    • Analyze data from quality testing to assess risks, identify trends, and report findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
    • Lead root cause analysis for product failures and non-conformances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Monitor and audit the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.
    • Provide training and support to production staff on quality control practices and the importance of quality assurance.
    • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to products and processes based on quality metrics and feedback.
    • Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment to ensure accurate measurements and reliability.
    • Review and approve quality documentation, such as inspection reports, test results, and quality certificates.
    • Participate in product and process validation activities to confirm that quality requirements are met.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3 to 5 years previous experience in a quality role.
    • Ability to perform Internal ISO audits.
    • Certification in Quality Engineering.
    • Ability to train and develop the production team in best practice and quality inspection technique.
    • Strong Microsoft Office application skills, including Excel and Word.
    • Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines.
    • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
    • Ability to follow policies and procedures.
