- Ensure review parts received are those specified on quality plans and product prints plans prior to use in production.
- Resolve issues with components by working with Supply Chain Manager or production team.
- Maintain quality control data with available QMS software to improve adherence to specifications.
- Guide and train production personnel and vendors in quality assurance techniques throughout the production process.
- Know and understand Weatherby products and processes.
- In concert with Engineering and Product Management, ensure quality from start to finish of all new and developing Weatherby products.
- Participate in and initiate continuous improvement and problem solving.
- Maintain maintenance plans certification for inspection equipment and gaging.
- Assist in evaluation of field returns and report findings.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, mechanical engineering, or related field or equivalent from technical school; or 5 years Quality Control experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, this position will be exposed to the manufacturing/factory environment and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
