    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC /2025 School Year Oxnard, CA

    We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) to make a positive impact on the lives of students while gaining valuable experience in a school-based setting. We welcome enthusiastic individuals who are committed to providing high-quality therapy services and supporting the communication needs of students.
    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals and needs.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice impairments.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on the development of educational plans for students with disabilities.
    • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and billing information in compliance with regulatory standards and district policies.
    • Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs) as needed, providing guidance and support throughout their clinical fellowship year.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of [State].
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred for experienced SLPs.
    • Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply; supervision will be provided as necessary.
