    Description
    Salary: $35/hr - weekday shifts | $37/hr - weekend shifts

    Weekly Pay With Pay Benefits

    Shifts Available:

    • Weekend Doubles with option of one 8 hr shift during the week
    • 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Mon - Fri

    *3-Month Minimum Contract Assignment with option to extend

    Duties of Licensed Vocational Nurse-LVN

    • Performs routine LVN work
    • Prepares and administers medication
    • Transcribes physician's orders
    • Performs focused care & treatment of clients
    • Documentation: patient behaviors, medication administration, condition changes and other changes
    • Maintains accountability of medication
    • Provides education to client and/or family

    Job Requirements for all applicants:

    • Must be licensed as a Licensed Vocational Nurse and able to practice in Texas
    • Experience in responding to medical/psychiatric crises
    • Direct patient care experience, preferred
    • Experience in providing care for emotionally disturbed individuals

    Other:

    • Must have a valid photo ID
    • Current American Heart Association CPR certification (BLS)
    • Must have negative PPD results within last 12 months
    • Flu Vaccination record if taken
    • Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen and background check
    • Must be able to successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check
