    **SUMMARY OF SALES ASSOCIATE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

    Learn and preform a variety of retail store clerical functions including display of items, sales, and customer service. Job Functions include the following and other duties may be assigned.

    Be the face that greets customers as they enter the store; offers assistance as needed. Treats the public at all times in a courteous, cheerful and tactful manner.

    Help to ensure that displays are pleasing and in proper order; keeps store neat, orderly and well stocked at all times.

    Learns and operates cash register and/or credit card terminal accurately; finalizes purchases. Balances drawer daily.

    Helps to ensure safe and secure environment within the store premises.

    Performs other essential tasks as requested or required.

    **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

    Valid Florida driver's license with safe driver rating.

    High school graduate or equivalent certification preferred, but not required.

    Prefer at least six (6) months' experience in a retail store environment, however, willingness to learn on-the-job will be considered adequate.

    **PHYSICAL DEMANDS** The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
