    is looking for a bright, motivated

    Azure Cloud Administrator

    to join our team.

    The individual will be responsible for supporting the ITCON Offices IT infrastructure which is based both in our data center as well as in the Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud.

    We need an experienced and technically skilled Systems Administrator/Cloud engineer who understands the fundamentals of how CISCO Meraki and Ubiquiti routers, hubs and switches operate.

    Fundamental understanding of installation, configuration and trouble shooting of laptops like Microsoft Surface Pro's and Apple Mac books is needed.

    The candidate should have experience with Microsoft O365 administration of exchange and user administration. Should also have experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Virtual Machine installation, configuration and troubleshooting.


    The candidate should have a flexible and accommodating working style, be excited about technology and take an initiative, and be willing and able to troubleshoot system issues while learning new tools and technologies as they relate to Windows and Linux-based systems.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    Maintain essential

    Microsoft O365

    and

    Azure

    based IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, routers, switches, hubs, MS Exchange email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware


    Maintain ITCON Office cloud based infrastructure requirements including, O365 and Azure based virtual servers, MS Surface Pro, Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti routers, switches, firewalls, Canon printers, MS Teams Soft phones etc.

    Ability to install, configure and trouble shoot Microsoft Surface Pro machines for ITCON employees.

    Microsoft Office 365 user account creation, administration and monitoring

    Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly

    Microsoft Office 365 Exchange email account creation, administration and monitoring

    Microsoft Azure Active directory administration including Azure Cloud tenant network operation and maintenance

    Microsoft Defender, EndPoint and Sentinel installation, configuration and administration

    Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and running

    Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status and activities

    Interact with the Call center and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed

    Establish and Maintain strong vendor relationships for procurement of ITCON IT hardware and software tools.

    IT equipment inventory and asset management

    Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

    Ability to show initiative and work with minimal supervision

    Expert oral and written communication skills to facilitate critical discussions between business customers, project stakeholders, and contracting team. We consider communication skills a key required skill

    Desired Skills and Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science

    4-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator

    Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, and virtualization

    Experience in project management, application design and integration, cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure), VMware, Hyper-V, or similar hypervisors a plus

    Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems

    Hands-on experience with Office365

    Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar platform

    Excellent client management/resolution, problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting skills are required

    Excellent verbal communications and written documentation skills are required
