  • Primary Purpose

    The Sr Director Events plays a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless coordination within the Events domain to enhance sales performance and operational efficiencies at both national and local levels. This multifaceted position involves synchronizing actions and activities across the entire Events value chain, collaborating closely with the leader of Events and events team and other stakeholders to optimize organizational efficiencies. The incumbent drives continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining tools and processes to bolster discipline and utilization for comprehensive business analysis, ultimately contributing to top and bottom-line growth. Additionally, this role assists in establishing revenue and profit goals and serves as a conduit to various partner groups including sales ops, revenue ops, finance, and marketing.

    Essential Functions

  • Enable effective collaboration and execution in a complex, matrixed organizational structure between Sales and Operations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing robust systems and processes.
  • Set performance goals and conduct ongoing monitoring to ensure alignment with sales and operations plans.
  • Generate revenue forecasts and win/loss reports to evaluate overall team performance.
  • Conduct market analysis and develop strategies for acquiring new business opportunities.
  • Enhance Events processes for sales and operations teams while optimizing collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and improve system engagement with the sales and operations organization.
  • Communicate initiatives for process and system enhancements effectively across the organization.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with commercial and cross-functional stakeholders to develop optimal solutions for business challenges.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine strategy and operational processes.
  • Partner with marketing to devise campaigns based on data insights.
  • Drive system automation, implementations/upgrades, changes, and process efficiencies.
  • Collaborate on technical execution and implementation efforts.
  • Contribute to the design, scoping, brainstorming, and innovation of technology and processes beneficial to Events functions.
  • Manage multiple cross-functional projects of low to medium complexity, ensuring high execution focus.
  • Adapt quickly and acquire deep business process knowledge to support the Events business effectively.
  • Develop annual plans aligned with organizational strategy and objectives, implementing improvement strategies based on sales data intelligence, market research, and competitor analysis.
  • Maintain excellent communication and coordination across departments such as Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
  • Identify and maximize commercial opportunities across different sectors, business lines, and regions, ensuring appropriate ROI.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
