    Overview

SRI's Information & Computing Sciences Division is taking on some of the world's most important challenges, creating leading-edge technology solutions that have revolutionary impact. Our researchers are redefining the way human beings interact with machines and with one another through machines, as we define what's next in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computing for the real world.

SRI's Computer Science Laboratory develops leading-edge tools and methods for areas including computer security, high-assurance systems, advanced user interfaces, computer networking, robotics, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. We study the logical foundations of scalable systems beyond the scope of traditional testing or simulation, and we create and apply high-level tools for rigorous mechanical analysis.

The Neuro-Symbolic Computing and Intelligence Research Group at the CSL lab of SRI is looking for motivated summer interns who will have an opportunity to actively participate in the cutting-edge research on reliability and assurance of deep learning models with a focus on foundation, large language and vision-language models. You will work closely with our team of experienced researchers, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to real-world challenges in the field of artificial intelligence. Our goal is that summer interns will submit their research findings as lead author to top machine learning conferences.
