We are in search of a Water Collector with a flexible schedule to gather drinking water samples from healthcare facilities around Fort Meade and Hot Springs, SD areas.

Job Description:

• Collect water samples from hospitals and clinics, including sources like water fountains, faucets, and cooling towers.
• Test samples on the spot for pH, temperature, and chlorine.
• Quarterly water sample collection over 17 consecutive business days.
• Travel time and mileage compensation provided.

• Additional revenue.
• Accrual of one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked.
• Vested and pro-rated vacation hours on your anniversary.
• Eleven paid Federal holidays per year.

• Follow instructions to assemble, service, and repair equipment.
• Operate equipment and collect water samples from various sources.
• Conduct tests on samples and record data accurately.
• Prepare test specimens for shipment to the laboratory.

• Ability to climb stairs and walk 5 miles a day with an 80 lbs cooler.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Possess a reliable vehicle, current license/registration, and access to a computer and cell phone.
• Must be a US Citizen.
