The Jr Material Handler/Driver will support the Operations Coordinator Receiving Clerk/Driver in daily operations related to receiving organizing transporting and maintaining raw materials supplies and scrap between facilities This role ensures accuracy in material handling maintains warehouse organization and assists in general plant logistics to keep production running smoothly Key Responsibilities Materials Handling Receiving Process parts to ship outside process vendors Assist with receiving incoming materials parts raw materials supplies packages Move received items correct floor location department or individual Support FIFO organization of raw materials finished goods including moving older stock racks Help maintain inspection reports filing entering system Support verification customer returns assist bonded sheets QC notifications Assist tagging re-tagging material skids reweighing needed Maintain warehouse logs assist ERP entries Driving Material Movement Assist scheduled unscheduled trips Plant Plant warehouse vendors suppliers Support movement scrap facilities loading scrap sales Assist loading containers international shipments General Plant Support Check replenish oil chemical levels Collect dispose barrels skids drums between Plant Plant Participate quarterly inventory activities Requirements Qualifications High school diploma equivalent Valid drivers license clean driving record Forklift certification willingness trained Previous experience shipping receiving warehousing preferred Ability lift push pull lbs operate material-handling equipment Basic computer skills data entry filing logging Strong attention detail organizational skills independently Working Conditions Primarily warehouse plant environment Frequent lifting moving unloading materials Driving facilities local vendors Safety gear PPE required
