The main responsibility of a room/food service runner is todeliver food to guest room patrons.
Job Duties
The room/food service runner is responsible for ensuring that thefood plates are delivered as specified to customers.
Responsibilities include receiving and thefulfillment of food orders, prepping food and beverages, providing informationto the customer regarding ingredients and information regarding foodpreparation.
Room/food service runnersensure that the plates are handled carefully and brought out in a timelymanner, to ensure optimal food temperature.
Room service runner duties include tasks such as clearing trays andmaintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and customer areas and returning platesto the kitchen.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate effectively withothers; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules andregulations. Must have full working knowledge ofMICROS POS. Must be Serv-Safecertified. Must be TIPS or RAMPcertified. Must be knowledgeable and adhereto all PLCB regulations.
