- providing security advice and guidance;
- performing security assessments, risk analysis, vulnerability testing, and reviews;
- collaborating on solutions to mitigate risks and enhance system security;
- reviewing audit logs for critical access, and reporting unexpected activity;
- leading security projects, including requirements definition, task planning, research, testing, implementation, and management;
- responding to client due diligence requests;
- responding to suspicious activity, and investigating reports of unknown visitors; and
- being available off hours/weekends/holidays for potential alerts from our Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP).
- Working knowledge of multiple IT disciplines to include some of the following:
- Network routing and the IP protocol
- Secure application coding
- Firewall rule management
- AV/Spyware tools
- Data leakage protection concepts and tools
- Computer security incident response
- Vulnerability and penetration testing
- Strong working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure platforms
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- Active CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly resourceful
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Strong written and oral communication skills
