Job Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer produces images of heart muscle and functioning by setting-up ultrasound equipment, operating and adjusting equipment, recording cardiac data and measurements,and protecting and helping patients.
This position assists with trans esophageal cardiograms, dobutamine stress test and other procedures as needed.
- Identifies cardiac anatomy according to age of patient,
- as well as, cardiac anomalies,
- heart disease and pertinent clinical information
