The Wound Center of Honolulu is currently hiring a Wound Nurse.Essential Functions Resident Assessment Implements Plan of Care Evaluates Plan of Care Delivers Resident Care: Customer Service: Provide compassionate resident care services Establish and maintain positive interactions with internal and external customers including coworkers and direct reports Responsibility Oversee the License Nurses Certified Nursing Assistants and other personnel May supervise other Nurses including other RNs Coach counsel and assign Certified Nursing Assistants and other Nurses to provide quality resident care Assign Certified Nursing Assistants and other Nurses specific duties for resident care direct their work Train assist in the orientation of new employees Attend participate in meetings Support follow through with management team goals Other Responsibilities Must adhere to Code Conduct Business Ethics policy documentation reporting responsibilities Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned Ability understand apply training from in-service education instruct personnel during training education staff meetings This position regularly requires long hours frequent weekend work This is a position health care facility open 24 hours day 365 days year Rotating shifts well holidays working inclement weather may be required Required Education Experience Must hold maintain current nursing license practice Hawaii Recent clinical experience education specialty skills specific geriatrics Demonstrate working knowledge infection control principles practices Ongoing pursuit Continuing Education Credits clinical subjects management personal growth development Proven ability communicate effectively positively staff residents family members Ability adapt flexible work schedule willing work every weekend Ability relate positively effectively appropriately residents families community members volunteers facility staff Demonstrate basic computer knowledge ability company applications Demonstrate understanding State Federal rules regulations govern practices within facility Preferred Education Experience Post-acute care health experience preferred Wound Care experience Job Type Full-time Pay $83 $97 760 per year Benefits 401k Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Experience Nursing years Preferred Wound Care years Preferred License Certification RN Required Wound Care Certified Preferred Work Location In person
