    Description

    Preference: Candidates in or near Salt Lake City, UT, Boise, ID, Spokane, WA, Omaha, NE, Minneapolis, MN, Northern CO are preferred.

    Description: The Technical Services Veterinarian plays a key role in enhancing our company's commercial effectiveness by providing valuable knowledge, improving customer satisfaction, and boosting sales. This position involves maintaining high levels of technical communication and support for both external customers and the commercial teams within the business unit to enhance the quality and quantity of customer interactions with Vetoquinol USA.

    Essential Functions:

    • Organizes client meetings to deliver technical information and practical training.
    • Clarifies technical issues hindering product adoption.
    • Enhances the company's reputation for excellence and expertise.
    • Provides prompt technical advice and support to customers.
    • Collaborates with marketing for effective campaigns.
    • Offers technical training to sales and marketing teams.
    • Works with the sales team to optimize product use by customers.
    • Assists territory managers and regional teams in improving knowledge and effectiveness.
    • Maintains contact with key customers and opinion leaders.
    • Represents the company at conferences and tradeshows, providing technical information.
    • Coordinates with pharmacovigilance and delivers continuing education to veterinarians.

    General/Administrative:

    • Supports the company's vision and mission.
    • Ensures compliance with safety regulations.
    • Maintains required paperwork and follows company procedures.
    • Keeps departmental housekeeping standards.
    • Requires 60-70% travel outside of the home office.
    • Performs other duties as requested.

    Qualifications:

    Education and Certification:

    • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Minimum of 4 years of veterinary practice.
    • Experience in education, coaching, training, and public speaking.
    • Preference for previous industry experience.
    • Proficient in computer skills.

    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills and a team player.
    • Can work independently and collaboratively.
