Connect Staffing is hiring aShipping & Receiving Associate (Forklift Operator)inSunnyvale, TXto support apromotional products warehouse. You will primarilyreceive and verify incoming shipmentsandprepare outgoing ordersusingforklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scannersin anindoor warehouse setting.Pay range:
$18/hr
Shift:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum Requirements – Shipping & Receiving Associate
6+ months of recent forklift experience (both stand-up and sit-down) within the last 5 years.
6+ months of recent shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse within the last 3 years.
Experience using RF scanners and/or basic warehouse computer systems for inventory tracking within the last 3 years.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory software
Preferred Qualifications – Shipping & Receiving Associate
Preferred Qualifications are a plus, not required.
Experience loading and unloading trucks.
Experience conducting inventory counts or cycle counts.
Experience working with purchase orders and shipping documentation.
Prior forklift certification (training may be provided if needed).
Preferred prior job titles:
Warehouse Associate; Forklift Operator; Shipping Clerk; Receiving Clerk; Material Handler; Order Picker; Warehouse Worker; Logistics Associate; Inventory Clerk; Shipping & Receiving Coordinator.
Responsibilities – Shipping & Receiving AssociateResponsibilities describe the role and are not used as screening disqualifiers unless also listed in Minimum Requirements.
Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders.
Label, sort, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
Pull, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse using powered equipment.
Use RF scanners to track inventory and update system records.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks.
Maintain organized storage areas and follow warehouse safety procedures.
Pre-Employment Requirements – Shipping & Receiving Associate
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse tasks during shift.
Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer (E-Verify hiring site).
Pass a background check.
Wear closed-toe shoes; additional PPE provided as needed.
