SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Manage and direct all areas of internal and external financial reporting and analysis, financial modeling, budget preparation and reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance department, including the preparation of external financial reporting
Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting principles
Oversee the development and monitoring of annual budgets
Lead the preparation of quarterly Asset Liability Management (ALM) and liquidity reports
Lead the preparation of Allowance for Credit Loss (ACL) quarterly calculation
Perform Treasury functions as needed
Work with 3rd party to prepare and file annual tax return for Bank and subsidiaries
Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the Bank's strategic objectives
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting principles
COMPETENCIES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient knowledge of excel and word; knowledge and understanding of Federal and State banking laws, regulations and GAAP.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
10+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience is required
Proven experience in financial leadership roles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
