Job summary
The Housekeeper is the staff member that performs tasks that involve cleaning and servicing the building areas of the facility. In addition, a variety of housekeeping duties are performed in order to maintain the facility in an orderly, sanitary and attractive condition.
Responsibilities
- Performs tasks correctly and according to policies and procedures.
- Thoroughly and consistently performs the following cleaning tasks:
- sweeps mops vacuums buffs strips washes shampoos floor surfaces
- Cleans dusts furniture closets telephone areas vents
- Scours polishes sanitizes sinks counters stainless steel surfaces waste receptacles
- Empties waste receptacles cleans solid waste containers transports medical waste outside storeroom as directed.< / li>

- Washes windows walls which may remove draperies rugs as directed.< / li>
(li )wash es mops rags linen as directed .
(li ).Gathers returns needed cleaning supplies equipment daily support rooms as directed .
