    Description

    Applied Systems Engineering Inc (ASEI), an industry leader is GPS/INS Engineering, munition design, analysis, integration and testing, is seeking a highly organized, goal-oriented program analyst to join our growing organization, in our Niceville, Florida location. This role is responsible for driving the successful execution of ASEI's programs throughout the program lifecycle to achieve or surpass quality, schedule and financial performance standards. This position coordinates and manages the program cadence with all functional departments to ensure alignment and continuity.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist with monitoring and tracking revenue and expenditures, calculating profit and establishing burn rates, cost analysis, Estimates at Completion (EACs), and ad hoc analysis as required
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly contract deliverables
    • Ensure proactive and on-going communication with Program Management, functional team members, and Finance relative to all program financial performance
    • Utilize standard company tools, policies, and procedures for management monitoring of cost expenditures, development of program forecasts, and preparation of reporting requirements
    • Measure performance against established budgets and analyze variances
    • Support preparation of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs) Cost Estimates, EACs, and Cost Volume
    • Validate invoices from subcontractors, review customer invoices, review and track travel requests, and audit expense reports
    • Issues and maintain current work authorizations
    • Work in an integrated manner with the company departments, including finance, accounting, and contracts
    • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining program control processes and procedures
    • Assist with audit support
    • Other duties as required

    Qualifications/Skills:

    • Knowledge of the overall Government contracting cycle and funding process is desired.
    • Experience working with multiple contract types: FFP, T&M, and CPFF.
    • Experience working with subcontractors as a prime.
    • Must be a team player, able to multi-task, and maintain a high level of work accuracy.
    • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent math aptitude, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
    • Must demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Must be detail-oriented and be able to set priorities.
    • Manage work assignments consistent with due dates and deadlines.

    Education, Experience:

    • BS in related field
    • 3-5 years relevant work experience
