Job summary:
We are interested in a full-time applicant to join an experienced Plastic Surgeon in our expanding recently-opened practice located in Saratoga Springs NY This provider can expect approximately three outpatient clinic days per week When in hospital Saratoga Hospital this individual will act as a Surgical Assistant as well as perform inpatient consults and provide follow up care as needed
Responsibilities:
- Obtains documents and updates medical history
- Identifies health risks needs performs physical examinations conducts preventive screening procedures based on age and history formulates a differential diagnosis plan of care based on history physical examination clinical findings identifies prescribes manages pharmacological therapies determines effectiveness plan of care through documentation patient care outcomes reassesses modifies plan necessary achieve medical health goals makes referrals other health professionals community agencies admits discharges appropriate service participates team meetings conferences enhance interdisciplinary approach healthcare delivery serves departmental multidisciplinary committees influence determine policies affecting advanced practice providers participates develops projects quality improvement programs standards care practice maintains current level knowledge relative professional practice maintains all required professional documentation license certifications infection control ACLS BLS DEA system requirements acts resource staff implements educational programs needed
