    Description
    Litho Process Engineer
    Full time opportunity in Albuquerque, NM


    Process Engineer must be able to develop and optimize standardize production processes and projects related to product requirements, standard operating procedures, equipment operation and maintenance, quality, statistical process control, and document control.

    Must be able to meet customer requirements through engineering support; and operational support as required; Improve product quality and delivery through evaluating existing and new processes and production equipment; and develop engineering improvements to increase quality, improve process capability, reduce cost, and improve overall process and tool reliability.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Provide technical expertise and sustaining support related to manufacturing.
    Evaluate and improve processes in manufacturing systems through disciplined problem-solving methodology and design of experiments.
    Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving quality, yields, production rates, efficiencies, and reducing costs.
    Develop innovative solutions and incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations.
    Improve process capability metrics (Cp, Cpk) and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.

    Collect, record, and document data and effectively communicate results with presentation and reporting that summarize key results and supports effective decision making.

    Provide suggestions during incident investigations and advise on corrective actions.
    Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
    Plan and establish sequence of operations to produce product and to promote efficient utilization of resources.
    Implement process to qualify manufacturing tool stations and operations prior to committing product.
    Implement process to qualify technical personnel on manufacturing processes and equipment.
    Develop tool maintenance procedures and troubleshoot toolset issues.
    Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
    Create jigs and fixtures as necessary to solve limitations of the manufacturing line
    Other duties as required

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

    Bachelor of Science in Engineering
    3+ years of experience, preferably in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
    Semiconductor manufacturing experience to include thin films, photolithography, wet/dry etch, or metrology is strongly desired
    Skills required include Requirements Analysis, Design Skills, Project Management, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills, Total Productive Maintenance and Safety Management for small to medium sized businesses
