    Description


    Under the direction of the Director of Physical Therapy, the Clinical Athletic Trainer provides evaluation, prevention, treatment, education and emergency care by writer protocol from a team physician or consulting physician.

    Tasks related to physical therapy patient/client management will be under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Duties will be in accordance with the Athletic State Practice Act and McBride Policy and Procedure.

    Qualifications


    Oklahoma State Licensure Certificate by the National Athletic Trainers Association; current healthcare provider level CPR certification and current first aid certification.

    Bachelor's Degree.

    A Minimum of one (1) year of experience.

    Aware of state regulations for Clinical Athletic Trainers and is responsible for professional practice with the Association; must accrue 27 hours of continuing education each year.
