    Do you possess experience in equity research and analysis or capital markets? Fisher Investment's Securities Research Group supports the portfolio management team, which oversees over $250 billion in AUM and caters to high-net-worth private clients and renowned institutions around the globe. Currently, we are seeking finance and research-oriented professionals to become part of our team of Securities Research Analysts.

    Exciting Opportunity:

    Securities Analysts play a crucial role in driving portfolio outperformance by providing timely and impactful coverage of stock holdings across various firm strategies and conducting industry/thematic research for the IPC. Analysts specialize in specific industries to stay abreast of trends within their sector.

    You will enhance your research and market knowledge alongside driven colleagues who share a deep interest in markets and gain expertise in both quantitative and qualitative skills utilized by successful analysts through thorough training in a diverse and supportive environment. This role will allow you to develop specialized knowledge in your sector/industry coverage while grasping emerging trends and their relevance to FI's overarching themes. Your direct supervisor will be the Securities Research Manager.

    You will be responsible for delivering timely and relevant research to the IPC and formulating impactful portfolio recommendations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our investment philosophy, process, portfolio themes, and rationales
    • Specialize in an assigned sector to analyze how market events influence future relative returns, and shape new and existing portfolio themes and perspectives
    • Regularly provide the Investment Policy Committee (IPC) with performance analysis and commentary, and proactively identify industries and stocks likely to outperform selected benchmarks
    • Participate in Investment Roundtables, Fisher Client Forums, and various client meetings to offer critical insights to our Private Client Group, Fisher International, and Institutional Group through written and verbal communications

    Your Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in equity research
    • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences through multiple platforms, and a willingness to support client service and sales initiatives
    • Communicates in a Clear, Concise, and Effective manner to drive portfolio impact
    • Possesses the intellectual agility and motivation to quickly adapt and explore new ways of thinking, operating, and communicating, while being comfortable with uncertainty
    • Enjoys working with data to derive insights based on facts
    • Shows empathy and recognizes opportunities for growth in others

    Compensation Package:

    • $85,000 - $125,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires can anticipate starting at the lower range based on experience
    • Eligible for a discretionary bonus dependent on firm and individual performance
