    Duties


    • You will perform inspections to determine adequacy of operations and facilities.
    • You will monitor work in progress for compliance with security, safety and good housekeeping practices, governing directives, supervisors' instructions, and the status of work schedules.
    • You will ensure materials, tools, drawings, blueprints and other required directives on the job site

    • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

    fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals)
    You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.


    • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States Commercial driver's license (CDL).
    • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Ammunition and Explosive Qualification certification program.
    • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current conventional ordnance/ explosives handling qualifications certification.
    • This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968
    You will be required to sign a DD-Form-2760, Qualification to possess firearms or ammunition.

    • Ability to urge or advise other workers to follow instructions received form supervisors and to meet the deadlines
