• Clinical Role:

  • ASAP - Ongoing Need
  • Shift: Monday-Friday; 7:30A - 5P
  • Call: 1 week out of every 6 weeks
  • Locum must be able to attend an onsite orientation on a weekday prior to first assignment (typically set for 7:30a-5p), which would include a physical, drug screening, immunization review, administrative paperwork, and EPIC Training
  • # of Physicians in Department: 5 Physicians; 3 APPs in credentialing
  • Patient Population: Adult - 46%, Geriatric - 54%, Peds - handful a year for lines and tube changes.
  • Medicare 44%, Medicaid 18%
  • Average # of Cases Per Day: 11 Procedure Lab Cases, 8.0 Para/Thoras, 7-8 CT/US Biopsies
  • Support Staff: RNs, Radiology Technologist, APPs
  • Procedures Required: (Full IR services including but not limited to):
  • Image guided biopsies and drainages
  • Dialysis access maintenance and line placement
  • Hepatobiliary Interventions
  • DVT and PE management and interventions (CDT and Thrombectomy)
  • Diagnostic arteriography and arterial interventions including treatment of PAD, hemorrhage (trauma, GI), Oncology
  • Drain placement, including chest tubes
  • Gastrostomy
  • Nephrostomy
  • 453 Beds in Facility
  • Trauma Level I
  • EMR: Epic
  • BC/BE in Interventional Radiology- Required
  • Active IL License - Required
  • Availability per request - Required
  • References per Stratum Med process - Required
  • DEA Required
