    ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking to hire Accounts Payable/Operations specialists to work on a 4-month temporary assignment with the State of New Mexico Environmental Department in Santa Fe, NM.

    • $23 per hour with weekly pay.
    • Start: Immediately
    • The assignment is expected to last 4 months.
    • Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

    This position will track budgets and revenue, and complete reconciliations including payroll reconciliation, default time reconciliation, and grant reconciliation. Other duties include cost package assembly; preparing required adjusting journal entries; conducting budget tracking; cost recoupment; working within the Statewide Human Resources Accounting and management Reporting System (SHARE); and other financial and administrative tasks in support of the Bureaus.

    • Reconcile Accounts Receivable
    • Reconcile Capital Assets
    • Reconcile Grants
    • Reconcile Purchase Orders to make sure all invoices are paid
    • Organize files on the server
    • Make sure outstanding warrants are resolved
    • Check for errors on vouchers

    Required skills and qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Previous experience with SHARE software

    • Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

    • Superb time management skills and detail orientation

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information

    Preferred skills and qualifications:

    • Associate's degree or equivalent

    • Strong mathematical skills

    • Experience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable)

    • Experience with accounting software and online platforms
