    Director of Logistics


    RUDIS is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Logistics to oversee and manage all aspects of our logistics operations.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies, optimizing logistical processes, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the efficiency and costeffectiveness of the company's transportation and distribution processes.
    • Oversee and manage all aspects of logistics operations including transportation, freight, and small parcel shipments to ensure timely and costeffective delivery
    • Manage wholesale operations, including order processing, inventory management, and customer fulfillment.
    • Lead collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of logistics from PO placement through customer delivery
    • Manage and negotiate contracts with external vendors and carriers identifying key partners to ensure the best possible rates and service levels.
    • Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop team members, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
    • Lead process development initiatives, improving internal workflow and external vendor management including systems implementation to support logistics operations
    Works closely with finance and business unit leadership to forecast and manage monthly and annual cost budgets.

    • Develops and manages key performance indicators to form the basis for third party provider performance assessments, corrective actions, and assessment of fulfilled contractual
    obligations.

    • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations governing transportation and logistics operations.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
    • 8+ years of proven experience in a senior logistics role with a successful track record of optimizing logistics operations and reducing costs.
    • Indepth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, best practices, and industry standards.
    • Retail industry experience is a plus
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to lead and develop a diverse team.
    • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking abilities.
    • Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software and tools.
    • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws governing transportation and logistics.
