    Description

    We are working with a leading, global Commodity Trading & Marketing firm who are seeking an Associate Energy Trader to join their growing Front Office Energy Trading team, based out of New York.

    Reporting directly into a Senior Trader within the team, you will be responsible for assisting with managing the day-to-day trading risks associated with the groups OTC and exchange-traded oil/liquids business. This will include the execution of client trades and the management of associated hedge positions, including futures, swaps, and options.

    Applicants should have an understanding of OTC financial commodity derivatives, whilst knowledge of fundamental Oil and/or Liquids is advantageous.

    Advanced Technical skills are a plus (Excel, VBA, SQL, Python).
