    Job Description

    The ESS Data Science Team plays a crucial role in supporting Experian's global operations by developing and enhancing analytic and generative AI products. This role involves engaging with clients, focusing on Data Science and Experian GPT, and establishing oneself as a thought leader in analytics for Experian's product suite. A deep understanding of credit risk management and regulatory compliance in the financial services sector is essential.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collect feedback from top financial institutions to drive new product features and enhancements on the Ascend Platform.
    • Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing Machine Learning, Dashboarding, Ad Hoc Analysis, and AI applications.
    • Collaborate with various stakeholders to introduce innovative solutions that have a significant impact on Experian's customer base.
    • Stay updated on regulatory and technological changes to ensure compliance.
    • Integrate new data sources into Experian's ML and AI platform and assess tools for their potential value.
    • Act as a liaison between product management and technical teams and identify new business opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 12 years experience in credit risk management at a major US financial institution.
    • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in statistical analysis software, preferably Python and R.
    • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
    • Demonstrated leadership in project management and decision-making.
    • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to travel as needed.
