This company manufactures packaging products and operates factories and manufacturing plants worldwide. As a Process Engineer, you will enhance processes at their packaging plant in the Dallas Metro region. We are specifically seeking candidates with a background in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, focusing on process optimization and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of capital projects related to process improvements, equipment upgrades, and facility expansions, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards
    • Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
    • Utilize data analysis and statistical tools to monitor process performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Lead or contribute to process improvement projects from conception to implementation
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
    • Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure proper execution of optimized processes
    • Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in process engineering to incorporate best practices and innovations into operations

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or Paper Science
    • 2+ years of experience
    • Paper/Packaging experience
    • Prior supervisory experience
    • Willingness to take preliminary qualifying assessment tests
    • Live or relocate within the Dallas Metro region
