    About the Role

    We're currently seeking a skilled Project Manager for our Raleigh studio. This full-time role involves overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage small to medium-sized projects, including internal and external resources
    • Coordinate engineering work to meet design concepts
    • Lead project teams to deliver documents on time
    • Collaborate with design and technical teams to shape design concepts
    • Presentation and approval of concepts to clients
    • Establish and maintain set budgets, ensuring adherence
    • Inform Sr. PM or Project Director and/or clients of potential variances to budget, implementing adjustments as needed
    • Manage collections for assigned projects, communicating with Finance Manager on untimely payments
    • Pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
    • Assign tasks, oversee work, and provide feedback to assigned staff
    • Develop skills of staff for future projects
    • Manage overall client relationships, driving positive outcomes and additional business

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you'll need:

    • A degree in architecture, design, or business (equivalent experience may be substituted)
    • 8+ years of experience producing design projects

    Essential Skills

    • Extensive knowledge of materials, furnishings, and construction methods related to interior architecture
    • Comprehensive understanding of building systems, codes, and ADA requirements
    • Proven ability to write and negotiate contracts for services, consultants, and contractors
    • Ability to solve contract and administration issues within established design contexts
    • Intermediate MS Office Suite skills
    • Intermediate Revit skills
    • Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite skills
    • Advanced presentation and graphic communication skills
    • Effective communication with all levels of staff, both internally and externally
    • Demonstrated leadership skills, managing and guiding staff through direct authority and subject matter expertise
