Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Medical Technologist

Shift: Variable Days,10's,12's, 36/40 hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

• 2 years experience
• Micro & Blood Bank experience
• Basic computer skills
• AMT or ASCP certification
• BLS
• Current certification as a MT, MLS or MLT preferred, certification eligible, or military laboratory training
• Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or closely related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).
• MT preferred - will consider MLT
• 3-5 years experience strongly preferred

Shift: Days 4x10s or 3x12s

MT preferred - will consider very experienced MLT

2 years required, 3-5 yrs exp strongly preferred

Micro & Blood Bank experience required

AMT or ASCP cert

Duties/skills: Precisely and accurately performs and evaluates a variety of technical procedures. Utilizes accepted quality control techniques with the aid of automated, semi-automated, and/or manual methodologies. Performs diagnostic procedures in various laboratory sections (chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, and blood bank). May occasionally collect blood samples from patients of all ages using various collection devices and techniques. May also perform other duties assigned by the Laboratory Director and/or Assistant Director.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or closely related field (Biology, Chemistry, etc.).

- Current certification as a MT, MLS or MLT is preferred, certification eligible, or military laboratory training.

- Basic computer skills required.

- Must be flexible.
