Overall Purpose of the Job

Qualified welder to weld pipe and connectors using Frank's welding procedure as per QA requirements. Must attend and participate in all Tool Box and Safety Meetings

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Fit and weld pipe to pipe and pipe to connector using FCAW, SMAW, GMAW and SAW welding processes
• Set parameters on welding machines to match up with the welding procedures when required weld in confined areas
• Follow all Frank' Safety Policies and Procedures
• Be familiar with forklift, overhead crane operations
• Be aware of safe work and welding practices

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years previous experience in similar role post mechanical apprenticeship or training.
• Skills: Must pass three welding test ( FCAW, SMAW, & GMAW ) prior to hiring employee-
• Employee welds must pass RT MT and UT as per QA requirements.
• Abilities: Possess a mechanical aptitude.
