    Responsibilities
    SambaNova is hiring a

    Senior ASIC Design Automation Engineer.


    This is a high-visibility position where you will be at the center of a chip design effort interfacing with many disciplines as we scope and ship products across different customer segments.


    In this role you will:
    Implement, document, and deploy design automation tools to support the chip development process.
    Develop, update, and optimize the release integration and testing methodology (CI/CD flows) for high-performance ASIC designs.

    Collaborate with chip design and verification teams, communicating and coordinating with members of those teams including those in remote locations.

    Design and develop tools and flows to support advanced pre- and post-silicon testing methodologies.
    Coordinate with the information technology team on tool installation and updates, license monitoring, and data management.
    Basic Required Qualifications
    Bachelors or Masters Degree (or equivalent experience)
    4+ years of relevant work experience with hand-on experience in programming in Python or similar scripting languages (C, C++, Python)
    Additional Required Qualifications
    Strong debugging and analytical skills across computer architecture, RTL development, Verilog or SystemVerilog and hardware design processes
    Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with on-site and remote teams
    Familiarity with git, Jenkins, Synopsys VCS & Verdi, HTML/XML, JSON, and REST APIs
    Familiarity with data management techniques
    Solid understanding of the hardware development life cycle
    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience with UI/UX design and development is a plus
    Annual Salary Range and Level
    The base salary for this position ranges from $125,000/year up to $180,000/year.

    This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US.

    Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.

    SambaNova offers a competitive total rewards package, including the base salary, plus equity and benefits.

    We cover 95% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, and 80% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with employer contribution.
