- Optimal packaging of machines and parts in final preparation for shipping
- Properly securing machines and parts (in transport vehicles) on bases/pallets
- Measurement of packing material, machines and parts for optimal packaging
- Preparing and finalizing transport and order documents
- Ordering all needed packaging materials
- Participation in work discussion meetings
- Comply with supply lead times and standard times as set by the Team Leader
- Operate crane and/or forklift truck
- Proactive in sharing relevant knowledge with other employees and support best practices
- Perform work responsibilities in accordance with applicable quality and health, safety, and environmental standards
- Working with people; enjoys being part of a team and works well with others
- Problem-solving; ability to apply technical expertise to work, approach work with new insights and solutions
- Result-driven to and focused on meeting customer expectations and fulfilling quality standards

- Secondary education in a relevant technical field
- Experience with the packing of machines is an advantage
- Fork lift certification or the ability to obtain such certification (Possibly not applicable for small packaging)

The Packing and Shipping Employee's main responsibility is optimal packing of machines and parts. The Packing and Shipping Employee performs other tasks such as helping out in the Assembly department if there is no demand for packing work. The Packing and Shipping Employee works in close collaboration with the Manufacturing, Assembly, Service and R&D departments.
