    Job Summary:
    *Apply a combination of business process analysis and technical knowledge to develop enterprise architectural deliverables that identify and describe the relationships among functions, data, applications and technology at various levels of the organization.*Perform individual assignments and lead project teams composed of Business Analyst, Systems Engineers and Research Specialist.*Analyze systems and technology integration requirements across multiple applications and organizations.*Communicate and work closely with process and system owners, IT management, peers, and technical staff to ensure the relevance of architecture and system designs to business process requirements.*Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product.*Act as an advisor to management and technology stakeholders on advanced technical research studies and applications. This position reports to the Director, Enterprise ArchitectureJob DescriptionResponsible for IT Strategy and Capability Roadmap developmentMaintain a view of current state and future state architecturesProvides technical guidance and renders decisions regarding Information Technology (IT) designs and engineering.
    Maintains standards for system documentation.
    Develops and implements Enterprise-wide and cross-functional Integration Solutions.
    Researches and recommends new industry IT models, management strategies and effective resource utilization models.
    Monitors, benchmarks and reports progress and performance of systems management and service levels.

    Conducts technology reviews and audits that ensure computer systems are built to architecture principles, follow Enterprise standards and are optimized to maximum efficiency.

    Interfaces with external business partners, vendors and subcontractors on issues of interoperability.
    Promotes technology security.
    Participate in Architecture assessments and reviews.

    Required:


    Bachelor's degree from and accredited college or university preferred or relevant work experience required in lieu of degree.10+ years professional business experience in Applications Development and Distributed operations developing and implementing enterprise systems2+ years experience in a leveraged services or lifecycle management function.

    Experience using architectural modeling tools and constructsExperience with briefing senior management and customers on statusAdditional QualificationsPrefer an advanced degree or other professional certification in Management Information Systems.5+ years of supervisory experience, specifically supervising professionalExperience producing application and technology roadmaps Practical experience designing integration (EAI) solutions, constructing n-tier applications, and delivering complex technology solutions in a large corporate environment.

    Knowledge of Database Management SystemsDemonstrated abilities in Verbal and Written communication skillsExperience in a Healthcare or managed care settingKnowledge:

    Knowledge of Distributed computing and/or Cloud environments Sound understanding of APIs, Service Oriented Architecture and Web ServicesKnowledge of J2EE and/or .

    NET Skills and AbilitiesStrong project management and leadership skillsGood vendor relationship management and negotiation skillsGood interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and staffSalary Range:
    $131,300 - $179,235This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
