    Overview:

    Brief Description: Installs, configures, and maintains the organizations desktop computers, printers, and peripherals. Serves as primary contact for all helpdesk-related requests and coordinates with other staff members when necessary to resolve issues of a technical nature. Continued growth in all aspects of IT.

    Responsibilities:
    • Image and deploy all new desktop computers and peripheral devices.
    • Keep accurate inventory of all computer-related equipment.
    • Perform upgrades/replacements to hardware, firmware and software on desktops, printers and peripherals as needed.
    • Maintain existing phone system and deployments.
    • Respond to phone, email, and personal requests for preliminary technical support in all areas of IT.
    • Gather necessary information to help resolve problems if they must be escalated to a higher level of support.
    • Track and monitor problems utilizing the helpdesk system to ensure a timely resolution.
    • Serve as a member of a team or project group in area of expertise as assigned by IT supervisor.
    • Interact and cooperate with other IT professionals both in-house and contractual.
    • Aid and/or train users in the use of certain hardware devices and software applications used within the company.
    • Maintain and seek currency of technical expertise though on-th-job experience and external professional training.
    Qualifications:
    • Two or more years of relevant IT experience.
    • Extensive knowledge of various Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems.
    • Applied knowledge of the inner workings of computer and electronic hardware.
