Description
:Job Summary:
Responsible to the assigned supervisor for performing complex engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.
Prospective engineer will be the CompanyEngineering Lead for assigned projects and will be responsible to manage all aspects of engineering activities.
The Engineer will coordinate with other Engineering Sections within Companyto ensure proper engineering oversight.Pay Rate:
$40.13/hour
Principal Accountabilities:
Coordinate the overall engineering activities between Company, Developer, Architect Engineer (A/E), and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for Generation capital projects.
Basic Qualifications:
Has typically acquired 6 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelors degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET*; or 4+ years of related engineering experience along with a Masters degree or PhD in engineering from a program accredited by ABET*; Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S.
*ABET - Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Acceptable alternatives are (1) a Bachelors degree in engineering (non-ABET), plus a Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S. or (2) a Bachelors degree in engineering (non-ABET) plus a Masters degree or PhD in engineering from a university with an ABET accredited Bachelors program.
Occasional Travel to Company generation facilities with some overnight travel will be required.
