    Description

    Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Supervisor

    Summary: We are seeking a certified and experienced Sterile Processing Technician to supervise our team in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as an SPT and prior management experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Train and validate competency of staff in sterile processing and decontamination procedures.
    • Directly observe staff to ensure accurate adherence to Instructions for Use (IFU's) and workflow processes.
    • Maintain knowledge of sterilization supplies, equipment, and instruments.
    • Transport and dispose of hazardous materials and sharp objects according to hospital procedures.

    Requirements:

    • Central Service Processing Technician Certification or Certified Operating Room Technician.
    • BLS/BCLS certification.
    • Cerner EMR experience.
    • At least 2 years of experience as an SPT.
    • Prior management experience in a hospital setting.

    Work Environment:

    The successful candidate will work on a day shift, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced hospital environment.

    Estimated Salary Range:

    $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
