    Job Responsibilities
    • Greets and welcomes patients, program participants, retail store customers, clients, visitors, donors, staff members, etc. in a courteous and professional manner, reflecting a positive and helpful agency image; notifies appropriate staff of their arrival and helps to capture/maintain program attendance.
    • Answers incoming phone calls, retrieves voice messages and returns all phone calls by the end of the business day they are received.
    • Offers on-going assistance to guests providing direction within Huber Vision Rehabilitation Center and responds appropriately to their specialized needs.
    • Assists with retail store operations as needed.
    • Prepares and packs items to be shipped.
    • Answers customers questions and makes proper referrals when necessary.
    • Accepts payments.
    • Inputs customer demographics into appropriate databases.
    • Provides referrals to Lighthouse programs, DHS and other appropriate community services.
    • More than 2 years of experience as a receptionist in an office or health care clinic setting
    • Good working knowledge or willingness to learn about low vision aids, devices, and technologies
    • Excellent computer skills including Internet, Word, Excel and experience with electronic health records systems preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation, and ability to interact with a variety of internal and external customers required
    • Ability to cooperatively problem solve with various departments
    • Good organizational skills and patience while handling multiple demands necessary
    Associate Requirements
    • HS Diploma or GED
    • Background Check
    • Able to Lift 40 pounds
    • Drug Test
    • Must be at least 18 years old
