General Description:
Rutherford Pool, located at 975 N. Congress, is a city-owned pool located in Recreation

Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The pool is operated by the Friends of the Rutherford Pool (FoRP), a 501(c) non-profit group formed in 2004.

FoRP remains committed to ensure that the pool provides swim lessons, exercise programs and most of all a safe, enjoyable recreational experience to all Ypsilanti area residents no matter their age or ability.

All are welcome to enjoy Rutherford Pool.


Responsibilities:

• Greet all patrons and the public in a welcoming manner.
• Explain/educate patrons about rules and expectations as necessary to support a positive climate.
• Sell passes and concessions.
• Maintain accurate record of daily entrances, sale of passes and concession sales.
• Maintain the front counter area to be clean and welcoming.
• Maintain concession items and inform business manager of concession needs.
• Other duties as assigned by the Pool Manager(s) and Pool Director

Compensation:
/ hour

Time commitment: 20-40 hours/week 14 weeks

Term of Employment:
May 14th, 2022 through September 10th, 2022


Minimum Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Mature disposition.
• Ability to maintain accurate written records.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle money
