- Diagnose and repair Utility vehicle mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair Utility vehicle electrical/electronic systems.
- Interpret customer's service orders and plans support activity accordingly.
- Identifies and order parts as needed for repairs
- Responsible for entering repair information into the Company maintenance system using smart phone, tablet, or computer.
- Qualified Utility Inspector certification is preferred but not required.
- Trade School diploma or military training specific to this field is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience as a Utility Fleet Equipment Mechanic/Technician is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems operation and repair is preferred.
- Continuing education with verifiable credits from Manufacturer's technical schools or training programs is preferred.
- Willingness to receive ongoing training, both internal and from our vendor partners
- Ability to operate a forklift safely.
- Requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen to the satisfaction of McClung-Logan Equipment Company.
- This position is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
- This job requires the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification.

The Shop Service Technician- Utilities will diagnose, repair, and maintain customer equipment, including but not limited to: bucket trucks, diggers, truck cranes, boom trucks.
