Geologics is seeking a talented Maintainability Engineerto work with one of our national aerospace and defense partners based in San Diego, CA
This is a 6-month contract assignment with the potential to extend
A permanent position may be offered, dependent on your performance during the contract period

Position:

Maintainability Engineer Type:
W-2, Contract or Contract-to-Hire Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA Pay: $ $54.00 per hour

Clearance Requirement:
In order to be considered for this position, the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required

• Develops maintenance procedures, defining maintenance steps, equipment, tools, times and personnel

requirements.

• Enters maintenance procedures and associated task data into SLICwave
• Provides technical inputs for analyses to determine the most cost-effective alternatives for performing maintenance tasks over the life of the system.
• Identifies and defines which parts of a system can be repaired or removed and replaced.
• Develops and writes technical

documentation, makes revisions to existing documentation, and provides input to technical presentations.

• Presents project technical

results and recommendations to internal customers

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Maintainability Engineer, Logistics Engineer, RAM Engineer, or similar to include:
• Experience developing and entering maintenance tasks using Slicwave
• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with MS Teams
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance for this position.
