- Coordinates scheduling of interviews (e.g., telephonic, in-person, virtual) and selection boards for the command.
- Receives documents from employees authorizing changes affecting payroll accounts, makes required changes, updates master employee records, loads new accounting data for fiscal year changes, and maintains official files regarding employee pay.
- Utilizes office automation systems and software packages to accomplish work (e.g., ATAAPS, DCPS, DCPDS, DTS EMPReS, DPMAP, AutoNOA, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Types correspondence, reports, and other material in final form from rough draft, notes, or oral instructions.
- Reviews and prepares travel vouchers upon completion of travel for submission to DFAS for payment.
- Attends required training as specified by the supervisor.
- Inventories and monitors supply usage, and submits requisitions when supplies are low or when specific items are needed that are not stocked
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f
