Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Project Engineer to support our Mining and Pelletizing Operations in Minnesota and Michigan. The Project Engineer is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and input for capital project execution.Summary of Responsibilities
+ Assembles project estimates and schedules ranging from Project Scoping to Project Execution Phases.
+ Provides oversight of contracted engineering work performed by outside firms.
+ Manages individual project files with the end goal of efficient project handover to Mining & Pelletizing Sites and CTG OnBase filing system.
+ Provides construction oversight including contractor management when required for CTG executed capital projects.
+ Interfaces with site representatives to ensure efficient project execution meeting assigned objectives.
+ Actively tracks project spending. Assist Director with Capex Spending Forecasts.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in mineral or industrial processing facility preferred.
