    Job Opportunity: Adult Congenital Heart Disease Cardiologist with Carilion Clinic – Roanoke, VA

    The Carilion Clinic Cardiovascular Institute in Roanoke, Virginia is looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) Cardiologist to help enhance their services for patients with congenital heart disease. The ideal candidate should have additional certification in Adult Cardiovascular Disease and training in Internal Medicine, with consideration for training in Pediatric Cardiology as well.

    The main practice location will be at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma/Academic/Tertiary Care Center with 703 beds, catering to nearly one million individuals in southwestern Virginia. The office is situated in a newly renovated medical building within walking distance of the hospital. The Adult Cardiology team consists of 34 cardiologists with access to advanced technologies and a large referral base. Responsibilities include caring for ACHD patients in both office and hospital settings, ensuring high-quality outcomes, educating fellows, and contributing to program growth. Collaboration in research initiatives with Carilion Clinic, the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, and Virginia Tech is encouraged. The selected candidate will also have an academic appointment at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, providing opportunities for research and student education.
