About the Position

We are looking for a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Level III Radiographer (RT) to lead our NDT department and supervise inspectors. Your main role will involve providing real-time x-ray services and support for projects, ensuring products meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Hold Radiographer (RT) Level III Real-Time X-ray certification
• Demonstrate expertise in x-ray equipment, imaging software, and radiographic interpretations
• Maintain all X-Ray equipment and systems
• Conduct real-time x-ray inspections on products and components
• Train and certify NDT RT inspection personnel
• Develop NDT x-ray inspection techniques and procedures
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Provide certification and data for completed x-ray inspections
• Ensure a safe work environment with x-ray equipment
• Other assigned duties
• Travel approximately 30-40%

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree is a plus
• Minimum five (5) years of NDT RT Level II experience in aerospace inspections
• Certification as ASNT NDT Level III
• Knowledge of quality system requirements and engineering specifications
• Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel
• Proficiency in English

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Radiographic (RT) as per ASNT-TC-1A
• Previous experience with Digital Radiography (DR) is preferred
• Certification in additional NDT methods such as VT, PT, MT, UT is a plus

Required Education

• Required: High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of related experience
• Preferred: 5 years of related experience with a technical or engineering degree

Required Certifications

• Previous Level III Certification to ASNT-TC-1A
