    Description

    Position Overview:

    We are currently seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in total joint replacement, responsible for diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions related to joint degeneration or injury.

    This role specializes in performing surgical procedures such as hip replacement, knee replacement, and shoulder replacement to restore function and alleviate pain in patients suffering from arthritis, trauma, or other joint-related conditions.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Patient Assessment:
    Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients presenting with joint-related issues, including reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans

    Treatment Planning:
    Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical conditions.

    Discuss treatment options with patients, including both surgical and non-surgical interventions, and educate them about the risks and benefits associated with each approach.


    Surgical Procedures:
    Perform total joint replacement surgeries using advanced surgical techniques and technologies. This includes pre-operative planning, intraoperative procedures, and post-operative care management.


    Collaborative Care:
    Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients throughout the treatment continuum

    Patient Education:

    Educate patients and their families about the surgical process, rehabilitation protocols, expected outcomes, and potential complications associated with total joint replacement surgery.

    Provide guidance on post-operative care and lifestyle modifications to optimize recovery and long-term joint health.


    Qualifications:


    Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical schoolBoard certification or eligibility in Orthopedic SurgeryFellowship training in Adult Reconstruction or Total Joint Replacement SurgeryState medical license and DEA registrationExcellent surgical skills and proficiency in total joint replacement proceduresStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare teamCommitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered careDemonstrated dedication to professional growth and continuing education in the field of orthopedic surgery.
