    Description

    A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory Manager. In this role, the Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory Manager will be responsible for providing guidance on ownership transition, buy & sell side M&A advisory services, leadership development, talent retention and incentive compensation strategy.

    Responsibilities:
    The Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory Manager will:

    • Manage buy-side and sell-side Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) engagements.
    • Assist clients with ownership and leadership transition, succession planning and exit strategies.
    • Identify, assess and pursue new business.
    • Serve as an Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry expert
    • Develop buy-side and sell-side Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) engagements
    • Assist clients with ownership and leadership transition, succession planning and exit strategies
    • Identify, assess and pursue new business; manage and grow existing client base
    • Mentor and train junior staff
    • Perform other duties, as needed
    Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of related work experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or a related field
    • In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects related to M&A transactions.
    • Experience in a similar role working directly with clients.
    • Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Management role
    • Solid problem solving and time management skills
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Highly organized
    Desired Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of AEC industry
