- Coordinate metallurgical activities with fellow engineers and shift supervisors
- Work with operators to teach steelmaking process
- Support and develop safety improvements within the process
- Assist with coordination of ISO activities for department
- Provide continuous product and process improvement
- Evaluate new process technologies for system improvements and implementation
- BS degree or equivalent in Metallurgy, Material Science or related engineering field
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work without supervision
